ABOUT ME

Growing up as a dancer, I have always found movement to be a source of expression and healing. Learning how to tune into my physical and energetic body at such a young age has allowed me to deepen my commitment to strength and flexibility. When I began my journey as a dance teacher, I quickly learned my favorite aspect of the class was providing a space for mindfulness. In September of 2019, I enrolled in a Yoga Teacher Training Program under the direction of Jennifer Yarro and Daniel Orlanksy at Boston University. During this 8 month program, I fell in love with teaching yoga and curating a space for people to develop physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Upon completing my 200 hour certification, I joined the Yoga Alliance: a nationally acclaimed organization for professional yoga teachers across the US. Since April of 2020, I have hosted my own yoga classes as well as taught numerous classes at the university-wide level. My goal as a teacher is to provide a space for students to achieve physical and mental well-being through centering and self-reliance. It is important to me to provide classes that call equal attention to strengthening, increasing flexibility, and clarity of the mind. I am so grateful for every group of students that have joined me for a session, and I hope to meet you on the mat soon!
